Lee Carsley remains in interim charge of the England national team for the time being but it is still unclear as to whether he wants the job permanently.
The FA are yet to appoint a permanent successor to Gareth Southgate following his departure after the European Championship final defeat to Spain in the summer.
Carsley has so far refused to confirm if he is interested in taking the job on full time and there are some others the FA will no doubt be considering for the role too.

Thomas Tuchel 4/7
Tuchel has been out of work since leaving Bayern Munich earlier this year having also managed Chelsea, PSG and Borussia Dortmund in a successful career which has seen him win multiple trophies. Reports in Germany have claimed he is being considered for the role.
Lee Carsley 4/1
Carsley is unsurprisingly high on the odds list. He has overseen four England games in temporary charge so far, winning three and losing one, and did a fine job with the U21 side where he guided the team to European Championship glory.
Pep Guardiola 6/1
The Manchester City boss is out of contract at the end of the season and would be a fantastic coup for the FA if they could persuade the Spaniard to take the job at the end of the Premier League season.
Asked about the reports linking him with the England job, Guardiola Italian TV show Che tempo Che Fa, as reported by Sky Italia: “Leaving City? It’s not true, I haven’t decided yet. And it is not even true that I will be the next England coach. If I had decided I would say it… I don’t know either, anything can happen.”
Eddie Howe 9/1
Howe guided Newcastle to Premier League safety after taking over at the club and then qualified for the Champions League by finishing fourth in the 2022/23 Premier League season, so the Englishman unsurprisingly features in this list. But his odds have fallen following reports that he has not yet been approached about the role.
Graham Potter 10/1
Potter has been out of work since last April when he was sacked by Chelsea, and recently told Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football that he would be open to managing at international level.
