Reports in Spain claim Arsenal are closing in on agreeing a deal for Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi.

AS say the 24-year-old is “very close” to accepting a pre-agreement to join Arsenal in the summer from La Liga.

Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr are lining up a double swoop for Manchester United’s Casemiro and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to the Daily Mail.

The report says United are looking to offload some of their high paid stars with the club’s football director John Murtough recently flying to Riyadh to explore potential deals for a number of players who are available for transfer.

Bayern Munich are set to make a new offer for Newcastle United defender Kieran Trippier after having their latest bid rejected, Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenburg says.

Plettenburg says there is a verbal agreement in place between Trippier and the German giants and that talks between the clubs are still ongoing, however Fabrizio Romano claims the deal is currently off because Newcastle are insistent that he will not be sold.

Meanwhile, Plettenburg also says Nottingham Forest would like to sign Gio Reyna from Borussia Dortmund on loan but claims the Premier League side have yet to submit a concrete offer to Dortmund despite an agreement being in place with the player, who wants to join Forest.

West Ham look set to complete the loan signing of Kalvin Phillips, who will undergo a medical at the club, and are also in talks with Nordsjaelland over the permanent signing of winger Ibrahim Osman, Sky Sports say.

They add that the the Hammers are also exploring a deal for Al-Ittihad forward Jota but that it is a difficult deal to do given the player’s wages, who is understood to be earning £200,000 per week.

And according to Fabrizio Romano, Granada are closing in on signing Facundo Pellistri on loan from Manchester United.
