Eight players have withdrawn from the England squad for the Nations League games against Greece and Ireland later this month.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Levi Colwill, Cole Palmer, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish and Aaron Ramsdale will all remain with their clubs instead over the break.
But Morgan Rogers, Jarrod Bowen, Jarrad Branthwaite, Tino Livramento and James Trafford have all been called up to replace them.
It is the first call up Rogers has received and follows a breakout season so far with Aston Villa.
Arsenal duo Saka and Rice both hobbled off during the draw with Chelsea on Sunday and will not play for the Three Lions over the break in Lee Carsley’s final two games as interim manager.
Chelsea duo Cole Palmer and Levi Colwill also both played in that game but have pulled out too.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, meanwhile, was forced off in the weekend’s win over Aston Villa with a hamstring injury.
Man City’s Phil Foden has struggled with his fitness this season, while his team-mate Jack Grealish has not played for his club in the past three weeks because of injury.
