Arteta confirms Arsenal duo will miss Fulham clash

Jurrien Timber and Kai Havertz will remain sidelined for Arsenal’s clash with Fulham on Saturday, boss Mikel Arteta has confirmed.

Timber has been out since last month with an ankle injury, while Havertz missed the midweek Champions League draw with Atletico Madrid after coming off last weekend against Newcastle.

Arteta says both will be unavailable for the London derby, but did not rule out Martin Odegaard playing a part.

The Arsenal skipper came off against Atletico Madrid with a knee issue, and asked about his availability, Arteta replied: “Let’s see.”
