Arsenal forward set to be allowed to leave for right offer as Chelsea target new goalkeeper – transfer latest

Eddie Nketiah will be allowed to leave Arsenal this summer if the club receive a “substantial offer”, according to Sky Sports.

Marseille are said to be interested in the forward, who played 37 times in all competitions for the Gunners last season and scored six goals.

The French club are said to have explored the conditions of a potential deal and are discussing internally whether to make a formal bid.

Arsenal also remain in talks with Bologna over a deal for defender Riccardo Calafiori and are close to completing the signing of Ajax goalkeeper Tommy Setford.

But the club have shelved their interest in Marc Guehi, with Crystal Palace demanding more than £70million for the England defender, according to the Mirror.

Elsewhere, the Telegraph report that Chelsea want to sign a new goalkeeper to push Robert Sanchez for number one spot.

Chelsea are unlikely to target a high-profile goalkeeper, according to the report, which also says there is doubt over the immediate future of Djordje Petrovic, who became the club’s number one under Mauricio Pochettino last season.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Manchester United have agreed on personal terms with PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte and that contract terms are being discussed, with the player keen on moving to United.

Their rivals Manchester City, meanwhile, have completed the signing of winger Sávio from Troyes for a reported £21m fee plus add-ons which could take the deal up to £33.6m.

And West Ham are eyeing a surprise move for France midfielder N’Golo Kante, with the Guardian reporting that they are in talks with Al Ittihad over a £20m deal for the 33-year-old.
