Arsenal trio not in team training ahead of Champions League semi-final second leg

Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber and Martin Odegaard did not take part in Arsenal team training ahead of their Champions League semi-final second leg.

Havertz has missed the last two games after coming off injured against Newcastle while Timber has been sidelined since last month with an ankle issue.

Odegaard, meanwhile, missed Saturday’s win over Fulham after coming off in the first-leg draw with Atletico Madrid with a knee problem.

Their absence from training does not necessarily mean they are certain to miss the second leg with Atletico, however, with boss Mikel Arteta set to provide a team news update this afternoon in his press conference.

Arsenal are level at 1-1 going into the second leg at the Emirates, aiming to book a place in the final to face either PSG or Bayern Munich.
