Mikel Arteta says he has high hopes for new Arsenal signings Jaden Dixon and Evan Mooney after bringing in the duo late on in the January transfer window.
Defender Dixon has joined from Stoke City, while attacker Mooney has arrived from Scottish club St Mirren.
Both 18, the duo will go into Arsenal’s youth side and Arteta says bringing in the pair while still young gives the club an advantage in terms of their development.
“Yes, it is obviously part of the plan and we need to continue to reinforce because that’s the best way,” Arteta explained.
“When we bring them early and when we know their characters and the pathway is clear and they’ve been with us in different ways, I think it makes that jump much easier.
“So we will continue to try to do that and if they can be around the team in the right moments, they will be.”

buying players are a different thing giving them playing time are also a different thing I am always happy wii hear Mickel Arteta have bought a player or players but not happy of how he is utilizing them because he only focus on the players he likes or believe forgetting the other ones at the end he will not make them look good so for that reason I don’t jump when I heard he had bought players for he has not learn how to rotate players that is his greatest undoing as far as players are concerned.
