Arsenal defender Ben White has undergone minor knee surgery.
The 27-year-old has been struggling with a knee problem this season, missing games against PSG, Leicester and Southampton.
And White has opted to use the international break to undergo a procedure to fix the problem.
Boss Mikel Arteta said after the 1-1 draw with Chelsea that he was “praying” for an end to a “nightmare eight weeks” because of injury problems in his squad.
Fellow defenders Riccardo Calafiori, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney are all currently out with injuries, while Jurrien Timber has only recently returned from a muscle problem.
Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice, meanwhile, have withdrawn from international duty with England after being forced off against Chelsea.
Martin Odegaard will also not travel with Norway having only just returned from an ankle injury.
Arsenal return to action after the international break on November 23 when they face Nottingham Forest at home.
