Blackpool reject approach for forward

Blackpool have turned down an approach from a Portuguese club for forward Tom Bloxham.

The Bloomfield Bulletin report that Académico de Viseu expressed an interest in signing the 22-year-old on loan with an option to buy him permanently, but the Seasiders were not willing to accept such a deal.

It remains to be seen whether Académico de Viseu, who will be playing in the Portuguese top flight next season having won promotion last campaign, will come back in for the 22-year-old.

But Blackpool are keen on keeping the forward at Bloomfield Road this summer.
