LIVE updates from the Vitality Stadium as Bournemouth take on Liverpool in the Premier League.
“I’m obviously happy with the result because I know this is a difficult place to come.
“We finished the first half better and were better in the second half. It was difficult for us [at the start].
“Second half we controlled much better the game and had the chances to finish it. But in the first part of the game we were not winning second balls and when they play with such intensity you have to be at that level.”
Bournemouth piled on the pressure, but Isak’s goal was enough for the three points.
Isak and Szoboszlai are replaced by Koumas and Gravenberch.
Bournemouth are searching for this equaliser.
They are camped in the Liverpool half as it stands.
Wirtz and Barcola are off for Nyoni and Munoz.
Evanilson fires in on goal from just inside the area, but it is not enough to trouble Alisson who catches well.
Bournemouth have a chance to get a cross in after Scott was fouled by Mac Allister in the corner.
The ball in is easily cleared by Liverpool, though.
Alexander Isak opens the scoring for Liverpool.
Gakpo’s cross is deflected into the Swede’s path and he makes no mistake with the finish from four yards out.
The Scot blasts an effort from 25 yards out wide of the mark. Both sides on the front foot here.
A Bournemouth defender gives the ball away to Isak in the box, but he is quickly smothered before he can get a shot away.
We are back underway for the second half.
A very poor half, both sides lacking cutting edge, hopefully that changes in the second half.
A massive chance for Christie there.
The midfielder is through on goal, but takes to long to shoot allowing Van Dijk to get back and block.
Liverpool have a chance there though.
Barcola does well on the left to cut inside and get a shot away, Petrovic dives the wrong way, but is able to save with his legs.
Not much to report here so far, but Wirtz wastes a chance for a Liverpool attack there.
He is free 30 yards from goal, receives the ball, but plays it straight through to the Bournemouth goalkeeper.
Since that free kick, Bournemouth have come back into it.
Evanilson thinks he’s scored here with a neat flick at the near post from Tavernier’s cross, but Alisson gets down well to save.
Scott’s ball in from the left is easily caught by Alisson.
After a cagey opening five minutes, Liverpool are starting to dominate the ball, Isak, Wirtz and Gakpo are all getting touches of the football.
Saying that though, Bournemouth have just won themselves a free kick in Liverpool’s half.
Huge chance for the Reds here.
Florian Wirtz is brought down 20 yards out, Szoboszlai will fancy this.
UPDATE: The Hungarian’s free kick is over the bar
Bournemouth work the ball well down the right-hand side. Evanilson receives the ball in a crossing position just inside the box, but Van Dijk is there to intercept.
Florian Wirtz gets us underway here.
Adam Smith and Virgil Van Dijk lead the sides out ahead of kick-off
Cherries boss Marco Rose has just told Sky Sports that Justin Kluivert suffered an injury against Real Sociedad on Thursday and says “we’re going to miss him for some weeks”.
