Burnley add signing of French goalkeeper

Burnley have completed the signing of goalkeeper Grégoire Coudert from Ligue 1 side Stade Brestois.

The 27-year-old has signed a four-year contract at Turf Moor and arrives with more than 100 appearances in French football to his name.

Coudert now begins his first spell in English football after leaving Brest to join the Clarets.

The goalkeeper is excited by the opportunity to start a new chapter in his career in the Premier League.

“I’m really pleased to have joined Burnley and to be playing in England for the first time in my career,” Coudert said.

“It’s a great new chapter for me; I can’t wait to get working with the team and I’m more than ready for this opportunity.”
