Carrick provides injury updates on Man Utd duo ahead of Brentford clash

Man Utd boss Michael Carrick says Leny Yoro remains a doubt for Monday night’s clash with Brentford.

The defender missed United’s win over Chelsea through injury and Carrick is unsure if he will be ready for Monday.

“We’re still working on [Leny],” he said. “So, there’s a possibility, there’s a possibility, but at this stage, it’s not 100 per cent sure.”

Patrick Dorgu remains sidelined while he recovers from the hamstring injury which has kept him out since February, but could return before the end of the season.

“Patrick’s working his way to being back,” Carrick said.

“He’s certainly making good progress and back closer to training with us, which is positive, so that’s good news.”
