Arsenal have been drawn against Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-finals, whilst Manchester City face Real Madrid.
The Gunners were the first team drawn from the pot and will face record German Champions Bayern, who they last faced in their previous Champions League campaign in 2016/17, where they were humiliated 10-2 on aggregate in the Round of 16.
Mikel Arteta’s side progressed after overcoming FC Porto on penalties to reach the last eight for the first time in 14 years.
Manchester City face Real Madrid in a repeat of their semi-final clash last year, where City breezed past the 13-time winners on their way to their first European title.
The Citizens cruised past Danish side FC Copenhagen 6-2 on aggregate to reach their seventh consecutive quarter-finals under Pep Guardiola.
Atletico Madrid, who defeated last year’s finalists Inter Milan on penalties, will face German side Borussia Dortmund whilst Paris Saint-Germain have been drawn against FC Barcelona.
The semi-finals were also drawn straight after, and depending on whether results go their way, then Arsenal could potentially face Manchester City in the semi-final in an all English showdown. Atletico or Dortmund will face either PSG or Barcelona in the other semi-final.
If either Arsenal or City reach the final, then they will be classed as the away team.
