Chelsea are said to be “on the verge” of agreeing a deal to bring Victor Osimhen to Chelsea, according to The Sun.
The report claims the deal will see Napoli land Romelu Lukaku, £17m midfielder Cesare Casadei and a further £39m with Osimhen heading in the other direction.
Sky Sports also say the two clubs have held “positive talks”.
Crystal Palace have rejected a third bid from Newcastle worth £55m plus £5m in add-ons for defender Marc Guehi, according to Sky Sports.
They also say Bournemouth have agreed a club record fee of £40.3m for Porto forward Evanilson as a replacement for the recently departed Dominic Solanke.
Kalvin Phillips is set to head to newly promoted Ipswich Town on loan, according to various reports.
The Athletic’s David Ornstein reports that Brighton have activated a £40m release clause in the contract of Leeds United forward Georginio Rutter.
The Seagulls have also completed the signing of winger Brajan Gruda from Mainz for a fee of around £25m.
Aston Villa are among the clubs keen on Chelsea centre-back Trevoh Chalobah if Diego Carlos leaves the club, Sky Sports report, while Palace could also be interested if Guehi or Joachim Andersen depart.
And the Daily Mail claim Napoli have opened talks with Manchester United for midfielder Scott McTominay.
