Chelsea closing in on deal for goalkeeper as Man Utd look to swoop for West Ham target – latest transfer news

Chelsea are in the final stages of agreeing a deal for Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen, according to transfers journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Jorgensen has already agreed on a contract with Chelsea, reports Romano, with the goalkeeper set to challenge Robert Sanchez for a starting spot.

Meanwhile, Sky Sports are reporting that Manchester United will swoop for West Ham target Noussair Mazraoui after the full-back failed to agree on a move to east London.

A deal with Bayern Munich had been agreed by West Ham for Mazraoui but the deal is thought to have collapsed after he failed to agree on a contract.

Man Utd are now keen on the 26-year-old and are in discussions with Bayern, Sky Sports say, while West Ham are focused on other targets including Aaron Wan-Bissaka, which may help Erik ten Hag’s side move for Mazraoui.

Riccardo Calafiori’s long-awaited move to Arsenal is set to be finalised with the defender flying to London for the first part of his medical, and is then expected to join up with his new team-mates in the USA to complete his move.

Talks with Fulham over the sale of Emile Smith-Rowe are also said to be progressing, with the Arsenal midfielder expected to complete a £35m switch to the west London club.

Spurs are poised to sign South Korean teenage winger Yang Min-hyuk from Gangwon FC.

And Everton have completed the loan signing of Jesper Lindstrom from Napoli.
