Chelsea are set to complete the £35m signing of Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion, with Conor Gallagher going the other way in a £36m deal.
Gallagher is undergoing his medical with the club, according to Sky Sports, while various reports claim Omorodion’s move has all been agreed, with the 20-year-old currently away with the Spanish team at the Olympics.
Chelsea have also announced the signing of 19-year-old defender Aaron Anselmino, who will spend the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Boca Juniors.
Atletico Madrid have agreed a deal to sign Man City forward Julian Alvarez for a possible £82m, including a £64m upfront fee, according to Sky Sports.
Elsewhere, Real Sociedad expect Martin Zubimendi to depart for Liverpool in what will be new boss Arne Slot’s first signing, reports David Ornstein of the Athletic.
Sky Sports say Manchester United have held initial talks with Burnley over a move for midfielder Sander Berge and are also in dialogue with Monaco over the signing of midfielder Youssouf Fofana.
United are also set to complete the signing of 16-year-old Chido Obi-Martin after agreeing compensation with Arsenal.
Newcastle have completed the deal to sign Sheffield United forward Will Osula, but boss Eddie Howe has stated his desire to bring in more signings.
And Crystal Palace are targeting a loan move for former star Wilfried Zaha, according to the Daily Telegraph.
