Chelsea defender Sandy Baltimore has signed a contract extension at the club until the summer of 2030.

The 26-year-old joined the west Londoners from French side Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, and has established herself as a key player for the Blues.

Chelsea would go on to secure an unbeaten domestic Treble that season as Baltimore made 29 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals and assisting six times, including two goals in Sonia Bompastor’s side’s 3-0 win over Manchester United in the Women’s FA Cup final. These performances for club and country would see the defender finish in 15th place in that year’s Women’s Ballon d’Or.

Despite the Blues’ struggles in the 2025/26 campaign, Baltimore has gone on to make more than 60 appearances in all competitions for the record WSL Champions, scoring 14 times, and has earned 55 caps for her native France, scoring 11 goals.

Speaking after signing her new deal, Baltimore said:

“Chelsea is one of the biggest clubs. We have a top quality team, and I want to compete with the best players in the world every day, that’s why I chose to stay here. I want to keep improving and try to win every trophy possible.”

Baltimore will be looking to help her side to WSL glory after Chelsea finished third behind Arsenal and eventual Champions Manchester City.
