Chelsea defender Reece James has withdrawn from the England squad.

The Blues skipper was again called up by Thomas Tuchel for the games against Wales and Latvia.

But Chelsea say he will now no longer take part.

It is believed to be due to an injury concern in the win against Liverpool, though Chelsea have not clarified the reason why.

Manchester City’s Nico O’Reilly has instead been called up to the squad in his place.

It is O’Reilly’s first senior England call up, having featured regularly in the City first team this season, playing nine times in all competitions.
