Live updates as Chelsea take on AC Milan in their second and final friendly before facing Crystal Palace in their Premier League opener next weekend.
Full time at the Bridge and Chelsea make light work of it. A comfortable win and no injuries, a perfect day.
Milan were disappointing, and they certainly have work to do ahead of their Coppa Italia game next weekend.
Next up for Chelsea, Crystal Palace in the Premier League!
Delap bags again! The ball gets laid off to the Englishman by Santos, and he makes no mistake with a quick and powerful finish
Loftus-Cheek was a much-loved player when he was at Chelsea and that is apparent here as he gets substituted off. He gets a lot of applause and in return thanks the home fans
The Coppa Italia is next weekend and the Premier League kicks off. That is becoming evident here as the game settles into a slow tempo with mistakes on each side.
Both sides look content to let this one play out and preserve their fitness. Who can really blame them
Fofana pulls one back for the Italians. Milan build up through the middle, the ball gets played to Saelemaekers on the left, and he plays in Fofana who slots past Sanchez at the near post. Great goal
Estevao wins a penalty, which Delap takes and converts.
There was a slight discussion between the two over who would take the spot kick but Delap won that fairly easily
Acheampong on for Chalobah
Delap on for Joao Pedro
Fofana rounds Sanchez and has an empty goal to aim at, but he lingers for some reason and Reece James throws himself in the way. The open goal goes begging.
Max Allegri throws his arms up in frustration
Luka Modric may be 39, but he’s still going strong. He comes on here to replace Ricci
It’s really difficult to know how much to take away from a pre-season game. But at face value, Chelsea look absolutely brilliant and Milan positively dreadful.
Every Chelsea player looks full of confidence and the attack looks so fluid, threatening at every turn.
Milan thought they had pulled one back as Leao heads home, but he was miles offside, as were two of his teammates
If any Premier League fans are reading who haven’t watched Ruben Loftus-Cheek play in a few years, rest assured that he is still an excellent dribbler. It really is a sight to behold, especially for such a big man.
Clearly confidence is running through the whole Chelsea team, but they are all over the Italia side. Not good viewing for Milan fans, and certainly not encouraging for the season ahead
We just paused for a drinks break but soon after Chelsea were back on the attack and Enzo Fernandez drifted a tempting ball into the middle of the Milan box. Cole Palmer was alone and unmarked, but shanked his effort
Chelsea’s resulting free kick from the red card was in a lovely area, central and around 23 yards from the goal. Palmer took it and rattled the left post
Things go from bad to worse for AC Milan and Coubis especially. A ball was played over the top of the Milan defence and Coubis was the last man. Joao Pedro was running on to it as Coubis attached himself to the Brazilian and took him tumbling down to the ground.
A clear red card
What a start here at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea couldn’t have wished for a better start. The Milan players look dumbfounded, as do Chelsea’s in honesty…
Another goal! This time it’s Joao Pedro. He sneaks in between the Milan centre-backs and gets his head on the end of a lovely cross from the right from Pedro Neto
Reece James stands over the free kick which was near the left touch line and whips in a teasing cross. The ball goes over most of the players in the box and inadvertently comes off Andrei Coubis before going into the goal. An own goal for the defender
Chelsea’s new winger looks up for this on today. He drives at Yunus Musah and draws an early foul
And the game gets underway. It’s a bright and sunny afternoon here in London, perfect playing conditions
Enzo Maresca’s men are certainly making the most of their American triumph. And the fans are loving it
Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fikayo Tomori have had a great reception from fans outside Stamford Bridge on their return to the club
Both teams go strong for this one. Milan rested numerous starters against Leeds in their last friendly so they could be ready for this test
Maignan; Terracciano, Coubis, Tomori, Bartesaghi; Musah, Ricci, Fofana; Saelemaekers, Loftus-Cheek; Leao

I think has come out of difficult moments the New sign Chelsea have signed are fit for the right position.
I’m waiting for Xavi is Chelsea player
