“On one hand, disappointed because we didn’t win. When you wear this shirt, you want to win every game. This is a really tough stadium to come and take a point. We could have done things better but the team showed good mentality.

“Maybe managing the game better and understanding what they were trying to do. With 10 men, we could have had more patience with the ball. Trying to find the wings and cross with players in the box. Obviously, they are a good side.”

Chelsea’s Reece James speaking to Sky Sports after the game: “I think everyone can see where we are and what we are fighting for. I think today was a big statement. Even though we wanted to win, there are lots of positives to take.“

An enthralling watch, from start to finish. A proper derby. But the spoils are shared. Who will be happier with that? Surely Enzo Maresca.

His side were down to 10 and played brilliantly. You couldn’t tell they had a man less. Mikel Arteta will surely be disappointed. His team didn’t offer too much.

But Arsenal remain top of the league.

It’s been a game of more fouls and drama than quality. But it has nevertheless been a good spectacle.

It was fairly even, but you’d expect the red card to change things in the second period.

Sanchez has just denied Martinelli with a brilliant save down low to his right.

Moises Caicedo has been sent off for a horrible ankle challenge on Mikel Merino.

Cucurella is playing a very dangerous game. He’s on a yellow, and still getting incredibly tight to Saka.

For his sake and the sake of the team, he may have to come off so he doesn’t get sent off.

It’s been a game rife with tension and fouls, and not much quality in honesty.

The best chance of the game has fallen to Estevao, and given his recent form, you’d expect him to score that.

The ball fell to him inside the box after a cross, and he skied it into row Z.

Bad fouls need to be carded, but referee Anthony Taylor has brandished three yellows already.

You wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a red card in this game.

Saka has a good effort that tests Sanchez, and in breaking away afterwards,Joao Pedro is brought down by Mosquera, and the Arsenal CB also gets a booking.
