Live updates from Stamford Bridge as Chelsea host Leeds.
“Unfortunately at half time he felt his hamstring.
“It wasn’t a tactical change, it was one that was enforced and Cucu has been top. Hopefully he’ll be okay.
“We’ll scan him and make sure we find out if he’s available for the next game.”
“He’s in the position where 999 times out of 1000 he scores and it’s just that one in 1000 moment.”
“The penalty goes in, they hit a few long balls, their energy is up, they pick up a few second balls and then the lad handballs it. He handballs it, it affects my players in that moment. They think it is a handball, we switch off, we don’t clear the ball and they score.
“For 25 minutes after that it was wave after wave of attack. We have to just make sure we take care of moments and be professional.
“You’re always going to have a spell in the game when you’re not on top. The ridiculous thing for us is they have managed to score two goals in a five-minute period when for the other 90 minutes of the game we were by far the better team.”
Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior after letting a two-goal lead slip: “Six minutes. Six minutes of switching off. We are in complete control of the game.
“I don’t want to talk about the football that we played. If we want to improve and get to where we want to be, we have to stay switched on for 90 minutes. It’s as simple as that.”
Leeds boss Daniel Farke: “Very proud. A very difficult game for us.
“We had to again change our back five today, several rotations, and then to come here to Chelsea who are in red hot form. They’ve won all their games under Liam Rosenior in the Premier League and Champions League as well.
“2-0 down after giving some gifts away but to show such a mentality, such a reaction to come back. A never say die attitude and to believe in ourselves. The boys did us proud today.”
Full-time at Stamford Bridge in a thrilling game.
It ends 2-2 but Chelsea will be wondering how they did not win this.
They were brilliant until the 65th minute, and 2-0 up.
Then ten minutes of craziness brought Leeds somehow back to 2-2.
The end of the game was enthralling, and Chelsea really had to win it in the 94th minute when Palmer missed the easiest of chances, an open goal.
But a draw it ends.
Palmer misses from two yards out! It was an open goal after a cross from Caicedo.
A terrible miss.
Hato whips in a lovely ball which Joao Pedro connects with, hitting the top of the bar.
Very close.
Six more minutes for someone to win this.
Now Chelsea go up the other end and Neto delivers a cross that goes tantalisingly close to going in.
You feel there is another goal in the game, for someone…
Momentum can do funny things…
Having not posed much of a threat, Leeds now look the more likely side to get a winner.
Aaronson has a good effort well blocked.
Chelsea must switch on again.
Dan James on for Nmecha.
Chelsea attack at pace, and Hato bears down the left and into the box. A brilliant last-ditch attempt from Justin blocked the chance.
Acheampong off for Fofana.
Santos off for Delap.
Hardly 10 minutes ago Chelsea were 2-0 up and cruising. They have completely thrown this away, it would seem at this point…
Goal for Okafor!
A comedy of errors from Acheampong and Sanchez means Okafor is left to score into an empty goal.
Gusto and Caicedo were also involved in trying to make a tackle. No one could and somehow Leeds score the easiest of goals.
The Blues were well worth a 2-0 lead, and from there they would have been confident of winning.
That was a silly foul from Caicedo and it will be a nervy last 20 minutes now.
Nmecha converts the penalty in emphatic fashion!
Foul by Caicedo on Bogle. Clear penalty.
Bogle was advancing into the box and Caicedo shrugged him off the ball with too much force.
Neto on for Estevao.
The Brazilian gets a huge ovation as he goes off.
Joao Pedro has astonishingly won three penalties in the last four days!
They were all terrible challenges on him. Two against Wolves, and one today.
Palmer converts the penalty!
He slots it cooly into the bottom-right corner of the goal.
Penalty for Chelsea. Jaka Bijol pushes over Joao Pedro in the box.
What a bizarre challenge it was too. A blatantly obvious push.
Estevao cuts inside and fires an effort wide of the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
Chelsea are seeing all of the ball at the start of this second half. Leeds have barely had a kick.
