Eric Dier set for Munich move – transfer window latest

Eric Dier has travelled to Munich for a medical ahead of a €4m move to Bayern Munich according to Fabrizio Romano.

Dier has only played four times for Tottenham this season and is out of favour with Ange Postecoglou. Bayern Thomas Tuchel has spoken out on the the deal, which appears to be getting closer to completion.

Tuchel said: “Eric Dier is here in the city and we’re trying to finalize a move to have him as another option at centre-back”.

“We’ll wait until everything is done”.

Meanwhile, Sevilla are still pushing to sign Manchester United’s Hannibal Mejbri on loan. Everton are also still trying. According to Fabrizio Romano, the decision is up to the player.

Reports say Hannibal picked Sevilla over interest from Lyon and Freiburg, as Sean Dyche’s side throw their hat into the ring too.

According to the Telegraph, West Ham are looking to sign an attacker this month, with Sunderland’s Jack Clarke high on the list of options.

The 23 year-old has been highly impressive for the Black Cats, with twelve goals and two assists in the Championship so far this season.

West Ham have been hit with somewhat of an injury crisis, with Lucas Paqueta and Jarrod Bowen sidelined, on top of Mohammed Kudus’ absence due to AFCON, and a long-term injury to Michail Antonio.

And finally, Bournemouth have shooed away Newcastle as Eddie Howe’s side have expressed an interest to sign star striker Dominic Solanke.

According to the Telegraph, Newcastle have enquired about the English striker, but the Cherries have made it clear he is not for sale in January.
