Everton in contract talks with midfielder

Everton remain in talks over a new deal for midfielder Idrissa Gueye.

The club say they are “continuing to liaise with representatives of Idrissa Gana Gueye over his future, with the midfielder’s existing deal expiring at the end of June”.

Seamus Coleman’s departure has also been confirmed in the publication of their retained list.

Youngsters acob Beaumont-Clark, Kingsford Boakye, Roman Dixon, Bradley Moonan, Francis Okoronkwo, Tyler Onyango and Reece Welch will also leave Everton when their contracts expire at the end of this month.
