Chelsea will take a slender lead back to England. At one point it looked like a goal would never be scored, so three in the game is an achievement.
2-1 is probably a fair result. Chelsea didn’t deserve to win by any more, and Copenhagen deserved a goal and a fighting chance because of their persistence and the support of the crowd.
This tie is very much still alive.
Since the goal the crowd have been incredibly loud about every decision that goes against them. It will be a battle of mental strength for the Chelsea players to withstand the uproar and hang on to their lead
Well it’s suddenly gotten very interesting. Copenhagen won a free kick about forty years out on the left of the pitch, Marcos Lopez put in a delicious ball, and Gabriel Pereira put a bullet header past Sanchez. Game on!
Chelsea capitalise on some sloppy Copenhagen defending 😬

Maresca will be pleased. This experimental side has done what it came to do and as long as nothing drastic happens, they will take a nice lead back to Stamford Bridge.
It was just mentioned the positive impact the Argentinian has had, and he now put the Blues in a commanding position.
Nkunku won the ball back in a dangerous position near the Copenhagen goal, played in George, who smartly waited before pulling it back to Fernandez in the middle of the box. He made no mistake with the finish
Cole Palmer tries again, and this time comes closer. A floated attempt from 25 yards that went just past the post.
Despite his recent goal-less run, he still looks very confident
The Argentinian has been good since his introduction and Chelsea look more composed and in control
Well the goal has ignited the game. Just two minutes later, Copenhagen nearly put the ball into the bak of the net themselves. Claesson with the shot, but it goes off the post and into the grateful hands of Rob Sanchez
Cucurella marauds down the wing on the left, plays in Reece James, outside the box, who powers it into the bottom-left corner.
Brilliant goal, and much needed
Fernandez, Colwill and Nkunku on for Mheuka, Badiashille and Caicedo

HT: Copenhagen 0 Chelsea 0. Chances few and far between. Malo Gusto off injured. Chelsea struggling to break through an organised Copenhagen side. 19-year-old Victor Froholdt has had an impressive first 45' for the hosts.⚪️⚫️ pic.twitter.com/AmiY3oT8BI

Well theres been nothing to write home about in this half. Malo Gusto had to come off injured in the 25th minute, Palmer had a half-chance and Copenhagen had a good chance that was offside anyway.
Some invention is needed here, either by Jacob Neestrup or Enzo Maresca at the break.
He’s made a name for himself as an overlapping full-back with a great cross and a good shot on him. His exceptional strengths are mostly wasted in midfield
Despite the dull proceedings, the home fans are in fine voice and are making themselves known. At least something is keeping us all entertained
Gusto went down injured a few minutes ago and despite trying to soldier on, he has had to come off. Cucurella on in his place.
The game hasn’t got going yet. Only palmer’s chance has come close so far and at the moment it looks a case of both teams easing their way into the tie. It is 180 minutes after all….
From nothing really, the ball bounced uo nicely and Palmer struck it on the volley. It whistled just past Ramaj’s post, but Palmer is looking confident early on
In his limited minutes this season, George has often been stationed on the left. Enzo Maresca is doing a lot of experimenting with his line-up tonight
Reece James is drifting into midfield in the early knockings. All the possession has been Chelsea’s so far
And we are underway here at the Parken Stadium. Cole Palmer gets things started for Chelsea…
