Former Bristol City youngster raising money for surgery

Former Bristol City youngster Jed Meerholz is hoping to raise the money required for surgery on his ACL injury.

The 20-year-old signed for Aldershot Town in February on a permanent deal following a previous loan spell, and impressed after re-joining the club.

But with the talented youngster out of contract, he is facing his own medical costs for the serious knee injury, which is set to keep him out for at least a year.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for the midfielder, who hopes to be back in action next year.
