“We have built something together. Everyone is hungry and ambitious but now we have to go to another level.”
“It is different. I’m sure both teams will adjust a few things.”
Arteta on Tierney: “I wouldn’t play a player who is not committed to the club. He hasn’t told me he wants to leave.”

“Manuel [Akanji] and John [Stones] are back in training. That is good for us… I don’t know yet [if they will start on Saturday]. Yesterday was their first training session.”
Guardiola says defender Ruben Dias will be out for a few weeks with a muscle injury in another injury blow for his team.
“What is going to happen in winter, what is happening at the end of the season, the club, and of course myself, we are going to decide what is the best for the team.”
Pep on the possibility of players leaving Man City in January: “I don’t think so.”
Guardiola: “I just finished a game where we were close to winning and we lost. For the sequences that happened I was not happy. I tried to be honest with myself here right now in six or seven days ago, if you fall down six times you have to stand up seven.
“I am fine. I am a normal person with feelings like all of us. When a situation is going well we are better and when it is not going well professionally we are more [focused] on what we have to do.”
Postecoglou on listening to Slot’s praise over pundits: “Jamie Carragher mate, you can say his name. He apparently likes me. It’s all valid but I don’t need validation from anybody.”
“Kind words from someone making their own impact on the game.”
Postecoglou: “I’m going into each game not knowing if we have eleven first team players.”
Postecoglou says Vicario is progressing well in his recovery from injury. “He’s so invested in what we’re doing. He’s a leader.”
