Watch Pep's full press conference ahead of Arsenal

Postecoglou encouraged by performances

“We’ve got to perform as we have been in the league. Performances have been really consistent in terms of dominating games but we haven’t really got a reward for our dominance and that’s the area we’re still trying to focus on, in terms of the front third to make sure we get rewards for our good play.”

Arsenal's position a 'dream'

More from Arteta: “We want to be in the position we’re in, we dreamed of this years ago and are in this position right now. Let’s make the most out of it and let’s enjoy it.”

Arteta ready for City battle

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta on facing Man City: “We’ve been preparing for this since pre-season. Obviously, we knew the schedule and we knew that it’s extremely rare to play in these conditions with three massive away games in six days, but it was what it was so we have prepared for that, both physically, mentally and tactically.

“We’re making sure that everyone is ready for it because we’re going to need them, especially with the injuries that we had from the international break.”

No mind games from Pep

“If I say something [good about Arsenal], they will say I am playing mind games or something like that. Always I have a high opinion about him [Mikel Arteta] and his team…”

Haaland set for tough battle

Guardiola: “Saliba and Gabriel, they are incredibly focussed with Erling all the time. It’s not one-against-one, it’s two-against-one, sometimes three-against-one. So that’s why it’s difficult to attack them.”

Guardiola's kind words for Sterling

“I wish him all the best. We cannot understand the first years in my tenure at Man City without Raheem. He has been so important. I wish him all the best. Of course, I would prefer he doesn’t perform well on Sunday.”

Foden set to play a part against Arsenal?

“Every player needs a break, a rest, and he had some disturbances in the last weeks, but he played a good 45 minutes in the last game. He was the best player in the Premier League last season, so of course we need him!”

Guardiola says De Bruyne could play against Arsenal

Pep Guardiola is facing the media ahead of his side’s game against Arsenal on Sunday and says midfielder Kevin De Bruyne could be involved despite being subbed off through injury against Inter Milan on Wednesday.

“He feels a bit better today. Tomorrow we’re training and we’ll see. He could be [involved].”

Postecoglou on being the first Spurs to last a full season in five years

“Yeah, they had a cake for me. I know I will not be here forever but I work like I will be.”

Injury latest from Postecoglou

“Wilson Odobert, it doesn’t look good. We’re still waiting for it to settle down to get all the information but he’ll definitely be out for the next period. It’s his hamstring.

“Bissouma trained today so he should be available for tomorrow. Timo was okay. He recovered ok. Everyone else from the game who played last week is good.”

“Richarlison is a fair way off. You’re better off not asking about him until I give an update because he’s not with the first team.”

Maresca on the number of fixtures

“For me, it’s completely wrong with the amount of games that we have. But the only ones that can do something are the players and we can help them. In the last two weeks some of the players have tried to explain what they think and I think it’s a good starting point. Some of them have said that [going on strike] could be an idea for them.”

Sancho to get a starting opportunity?

Maresca on Sancho: “We used the international break to focus on him, he’s doing well.”

Right-back issues for Chelsea

Enzo Maresca has been speaking to the media in the last few minutes. He says Malo Gusto is still not fit enough to return and does not have an update on Reece James’ recovery. “Unfortunately, we don’t have an idea at the moment when Reece will return.”

Iraola on Evanilson after penalty miss

Andoni Iraola has backed Bournemouth’s record signing Evanilson to put his penalty miss against Chelsea behind him, ahead of the game against Liverpool.

“We’ve talked to him, but he’s used to it. He has taken and missed penalties before. I’ve missed penalties in my career and I know how it feels.

“You have to try and not let it change your confidence and attitude. It’s part of the job. You have to try to forget about it and continue performing well, is what I would suggest to him.”

Erik ten Hag ahead of Crystal Palace clash

Rasmus Hojlund and Mason Mount could play a part against Crystal Palace, Erik ten Hag says. Watch his full pre-match press conference:

Slot on bouncing back from Forest defeat

“It sounds simple but if every player plays five per cent better than against Nottingham Forest, which is not that difficult to be honest, then that will make a massive change already.”

Slot on Darwin Nunez

Arne Slot was asked what Darwin Nunez has to do to earn a place in the starting 11. “If you play in a team like Liverpool you will always get your goals and assists but for me it’s mainly about the work we do without the ball. He will get his chance in the near future. We play a lot of games, and he’s fitter and fitter now.”

09:25 - Slot reveals Alisson doubt

Arne Slot is the first manager up to speak to the media today and reveals goalkeeper Alisson is a doubt to face Bournemouth through injury.

“Alisson is a doubt to see if he can train today and if he can’t, then he will probably not play. We will have to wait and see.”
