LIVE updates from our reporter Nayan Murthy at Craven Cottage as Fulham take on Manchester City
“It’s huge and I’m really proud,” he said to Sky Sports. “Of course it’s a massive thing, 100 club is a nice thing to be in and I’m happy.
“I knew about it, that’s what I tried to do. I try to help the team scoring goals, that’s my job.
“Every game is a different game, you can’t think of the game that’s been you need to focus on what’s ahead. The reality is we lost against Newcastle and Leverkusen but now we have two in a row and we have to keep going.”
A well-spirited Fulham fight back comes so close. From 5-1 down they clawed the score back to 5-4 but it just was not enough.
So close from King who chips Donnarumma but Gvardiol clears it off the line.
Phil Foden is off for Nathan Ake. That will be their final substitution.
The Frenchman kicks the ball high up in the air to stop Fulham taking a throw-in. Rightly in the book.
City thought they had won it there!
Gvardiol is played through on goal and chips Leno but Andersen gets back just in time to clear the ball that was goalbound.
Erling Haaland battles with Bassey and plays Savinho through ,but the Brazilian is caught up and eased off the ball by the Fulham defender.
Eight minutes to go!
Can Fulham find an equaliser?
O’Reilly, Haaland and Savinho are all aiming to keep it in the corner for City.
Chukwueze almost has a third.
He beats two defenders on the edge of the box to loud cheers before firing over Donnarumma’s goal.
All the Fulham fans believe they should have a penalty as Kusi Asare went down after tangling with O’Reilly but the referee waves play on.
Harry Wilson is replaced by Kevin, can he be the one to get Fulham an equaliser?
Tijani Reijnders is off for Rayan Cherki for City.
They are cheering every tackle, every throw in every pass, can Fulham make this comeback count?
SAMUEL CHUKWUEZE SCORES AGAIN!
THEY ARE BACK IN IT!
Raul Jimenez and Emile Smith Rowe for Josh King and Jonah Kusi-Asare.
The goal is given after a lengthy VAR check.
And still….
They are still checking..
VAR are checking the goal for offside
A comeback on the cards?
Samuel Chukwueze fires home from the edge of the area.
Erling Haaland hits the woodwork again.
Savinho does well on the left to dig out a cross the back post and once again Haaland leaps highest but his header comes back off of the post.
Ryan Sessengon breaks in behind and finds Harry Wilson with a cross but the Welshman cannot get a shot away. The linesman then raises his flag for offside.
Jeremy Doku makes way for Savinho and John Stones replaces Nico Gonzalez.
Brilliant clearance from Nunes!
Wilson’s ball in is controlled by Jimenez in the box but Nunes makes sure he does not get a second touch as he clears behind.
