Grealish and Maguire left out of England Euros squad

Harry Maguire and Jack Grealish have been left out of the final England squad for the Euros.

The Athletic’s David Ornstein reports that the Manchester United defender and Manchester City midfielder join James Maddison and Curtis Jones in not making the final cut.

Maguire has been struggling with a calf injury which forced him to miss the end of the season with United.

Grealish came off the bench in the 3-0 friendly win over Bosnia and Herzegovina but is one of the seven who will not travel to Germany from the original 33-man training squad.

It has been a frustrating season for the 28-year-old, who has been reduced to a bench role at Man City and scored just three times in 36 appearances in all competitions.

Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford and Liverpool defender Jarrell Quansah are also expected to miss out, leaving England boss Gareth Southgate needing to cut one more player from the squad.
