Pep Guardiola has urged Arsenal boss and his former assistant Mikel Arteta to provide more clarity on comments he made earlier this week claiming he has “all the information” about Manchester City.
Bernardo Silva was among the Man City players critical of Arsenal’s approach in the 2-2 draw between the two sides on Sunday and accused them of wasting time.
Asked about his response to that criticism earlier this week, Arteta said: “No comment. I have been there before. I was there for four years.
“I have all the information. So I know. Believe me.”
Guardiola was then asked for his response to Arteta’s comments, and says the Spaniard, who spent three years assisting Guardiola at City, must clarify what he meant.
He said: “Next time, Mikel has to be clear exactly what he means by he’s been here four years and he knows exactly what’s happen here.
“It can be related to all the processes now, the charges, maybe it’s about that, the information about that.
“I have a good relation with him. Hopefully he can say exactly what he means when he says he’s here and he knows what happens here.”
