Guehi withdraws from England squad due to injury

Marc Guehi has withdrawn from the England squad due to injury, it has been confirmed.

The Crystal Palace defender has suffered a foot injury which forced him to miss Palace’s game against Brighton, and England’s win over Serbia on Thursday.

England boss Thomas Tuchel had said it was a possibility he could return for the clash with Albania on Sunday but Guehi has since returned to his club for rehabilitation.

Tuchel will now prepare for the game against Albania with a squad of 24.
