Recent form
England have won the last four games, with the international break in October seeing them beat Wales and Latvia 3-0 and 5-0 respectively.
Serbia beat Andorra in their last outing but lost the two games prior, to England and Albania.
What’s been said?
Englan boss Thomas Tuchel on Serbia and his side’s last win over them: “I still think they were a great team with a great record in Belgrade and it was mostly down to us that we did not let Serbia show their quality. It was mainly down to our quality. We did not let Serbia breathe or get into the match. Now, it is a new coach with new energy and the same strong, proud group of players and we have to do it again.
“This is what football and elite sport is all about. It does not allow you to look back and misinterpret the last game into an easy match. We will have to put a lot into it tomorrow.
“We don’t know what is coming from the structure, we can just guess and presume what we think is coming when we analyse the coach’s teams so it is a big test for us to adapt in the game, adapt in our press and adapt in our shape depending on what the opponent is offering. We basically have no evidence of the team and coach playing together.”
