Recent form
Everton have won two of their last four games and are currently eighth in the table.
Burnley are having a tougher time of things, and are currently languishing in 19th. They are eight points adrift of safety and have won only once since January 11th.
Relegation is not yet confirmed, but it will take a mighty effort for Scott Parker’s men to save themselves.
What’s been said?
Everton manager David Moyes on starting two strikers: “Possibly at times. It’s probably out of fashion having two strikers now for maybe 20 years. Lots of things have come in, long throws, set-piece goals, so who knows? Two centre forwards may be the future. Will we do it? We might do if we need to but I don’t think all the time.”
Burnley manager Scott Parker on chances of staying up: “There has always been belief and there always is. This is a young group and at times they are learning at certain moments and you are seeing that shine through. Whether that is enough to bring success this year and that isn’t me being negative, you are seeing things being engraved in this team that is paramount to being successful.”
