Recent form
FC Utrecht are without a win in their last four matches including three draws and one loss to Real Betis last time out in the Europa League. As it stands, they would be heading out of the competition as they are currently 32nd out of 36 teams in the league phase.
Last time out in the Europa League, Forest beat Malmo 3-0 and they are in a strong position to go through to the round of 32. Their most recent result in the Premier League was not so positive as they were beaten 3-0 by Everton.
What’s been said
Forest boss Sean Dyche on whether he is focused on securing a top-eight spot in the Europa League.
“The target at the moment is to have that clear view of performing and winning games,” he said in his pre-match press conference. “You can’t guarantee that alone.
“I have never been one for looking at we’re going to do this and we’re going to do that. The next one is the most important one.
“I have made sure the players are aware of that. We have parked the last one in the league and are moving on to this one. If you take care of yourself by winning games, the rest of it falls into place.”
