Ipswich give significant injury update on duo

Ipswich Town midfield duo Azor Matusiwa and Jack Taylor have both undergone surgeries on their respective injury problems.

Matusiwa has had a procedure done on a muscle injury while Taylor has had a knee operation.

Ipswich say both players will use the summer to recover, ahead of the club’s return to the Premier League next season.

“Midfielders Azor Matusiwa and Jack Taylor have both undergone surgeries following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season. 

“Azor has undergone an operation on a muscle injury, while Jack has had a knee cartilage procedure, with both surgeries a success. 

“Both players will now recuperate over the summer.”
