Aston Villa boss Unai Emery says John McGinn could miss several weeks after going off injured against Everton.
The Scotland midfielder came off in the first half and is certain to miss the Europa League game against Fenerbahce on Thursday.
Emery says he is yet to have confirmation of the seriousness of the injury, however.
“We are still waiting because he is still visiting some doctors to have a decision what to do,” Emery explained.
“It could be some weeks. It depends on the doctor and for him, how he feels.”
Emi Martinez will also miss the game in Turkey because of a calf problem, while Boubacar Kamara, Ross Barkley and Alysson are too sidelined.
Kamara is facing a lengthy absence with a knee injury.
But Amadou Onana has trained ahead of the game and could feature.
