Live updates as Leeds host Premier League leaders Arsenal.

Full-time (0-4)

The perfect response from Arsenal to their recent disappointment in league matches. The Gunners re-establish their superiority with an impressive victory on a tricky away trip, and pile the pressure on their title rivals. Madueke was at the centre of both goals in the first half, before Jesus starred off the bench after the break.

For Leeds it is a wholly underwhelming performance on a day that they entered with significant hope. Despite this, it is far from being a fatal blow to Farke’s side, who must now pick themselves up for the next one.

90'+4
Calafiori and Ampadu (0-4)

Calafiori squares up to Ampadu in the final minute of the game.

Needless stuff but both escape a booking.

88'
Arsenal want more (0-4)

Arsenal are still steaming forward as they look for even more goals.

Leeds heads are going down but they will still have to survive the last few minutes.

86'
GOAL 0-4

Arsenal have their fourth goal and it is Jesus who adds it.

The substitute has looked lively since coming on and turns brilliantly in the box before wrapping an effort into the bottom corner. A great goal to cap a great day for the Gunners.

85'
Final Leeds change (0-3)

Calvert-Lewin is now withdrawn by Farke.

Piroe comes on for the closing moments.

81'
Eze on (0-3)

Arsenal also make a change.

Eze is sent on for Trossard. Limited minutes for the star summer signing again today.

80'
Leeds substitution (0-3)

Stach makes way for Gnonto.

Leeds have little hope of turning things around and Elland Road is slowly starting to empty.

79'
Jesus denied again (0-3)

A great cross from Timber picks out Jesus in the middle.

The Brazilian keeps his header on target but Darlow reacts well to tip it over the crossbar.

77'
Jesus goes close (0-3)

Rice drives into the penalty area and is able to find Jesus on his second attempt.

The Brazilian shoots and his effort goes just wide, almost an instant impact from the Brazilian.

76'
Arsenal double change (0-3)

Another double substitution from Arteta, who must now feel that the result is secured.

Gyokeres and Hincapie make way for Jesus and Calafiori.

69'
GOAL 0-3

Arsenal do steal the third goal and that is surely game over now.

Martinelli flies down the right-hand side and crosses to Gyokeres, who is allowed to finish from within the six-yard box. The Swedish striker has his goal and Arsenal should have all three points.

66'
Pressure growing on Arsenal (0-2)

The pressure has been growing on Arsenal for sometime and Martinelli dribbling out for a Leeds corner is the latest example of it.

A goal for the hosts in the next 15 minutes would make this a very interesting game. Arteta will hope his side can go up the other end and put this game to bed on the counterattack.

61'
Arsenal double change (0-2)

Madueke and Havertz are withdrawn on the hour mark.

Martinelli and captain Odegaard come on to replace them.

59'
Timber booked (0-2)

Gudmundsson takes it past Timber just outside the area, who slams him to the ground.

Leeds have a dangerous free-kick from a wide position to follow.

57'
Leeds on top (0-2)

Leeds have remained on top at the start of the second-half, as they search for a way back into this game.

Farke’s side will not go down without a fight this afternoon.

51'
Chance for Gyokeres (0-2)

Gyokeres is played in behind and it is a huge opportunity for the Swedish striker.

Through one-on-one with the goalkeeper, he does not release his shot fast enough, allowing Rodon to recover and clear it behind for a corner.

49'
Raya tested (0-2)

Raya is called into action for the first time today, as he denies a Stach header from a Leeds corner.

The hosts have started the second half with renewed spirit and have already had Arsenal on the back foot on a couple of occasions.

46'
Second half underway (0-2)

Calvert-Lewin takes the kick-off for the hosts.

We are back underway in the second half.

Leeds double substitution (0-2)

Okafor and Longstaff are sent on at the break.

Justin and Gruev are the two who make way. A possible change of shape from Farke.

Leeds preparing a change (0-2)

Leeds are preparing to make a half-time substitution.

Okafor is out on the pitch in full kit and looks ready to enter the action.

Half-time (0-2)

It has not been a vintage Arsenal performance, but Arteta’s side find themselves two goals up, a valuable lead on a tough away trip such as this. Madueke, who came in at short notice for Saka, has been the provider of both goals, as he takes his opportunity with both hands.

Leeds have competed for the majority of the game but have gone to sleep twice and been punished twice. Farke will not be happy at the nature of the goals conceded.

42'
Huge appeals for a Leeds penalty (0-2)

Leeds have the ball in Arsenal’s 18-yard boc and there are huge appeals for handball and a penalty.

However, the replays show there is nothing in it and the hosts will continue to search for another way back into this game.

38'
GOAL 0-2

The Gunners double their lead, this time directly from a corner.

Madueke whips an in-swinging cross in and Darlow does not deal with it at all. Under no challenge from an Arsenal player, the Leeds goalkeeper punches the ball into the back of his own player and it bounces into the goal. A gift for Arteta’s side.

37'
First yellow card (0-1)

The first yellow card of the afternoon is shown to Gudmundsson.

The Leeds man catches Timber late and is booked by the referee.

34'
Arsenal still on top (0-1)

Falling behind has not catalysed the response from the Leeds players that Farke would be hoping to see.

The visitors are still on top and growing in confidence following their opener.
