Liverpool have confirmed that Mo Salah will not travel with the Liverpool squad to face Inter Milan in the Champions League.
It follows an outspoken interview from the Reds forward after the 3-3 draw with Leeds on Saturday, in which the Egyptian was an unused substitute.
Salah said he felt as though he had been “thrown under the bus” following Liverpool’s poor form this season, and suggested there was someone at the club who no longer wanted him there.
The 33-year-old trained with his team-mates ahead of the game but will not take part in the European clash.
The full 19-man squad to make the trip to Milan is: Alisson, Gomez, Van Dijk, Konate, Kerkez, Wirtz, Szoboszlai, Isak, Mac Allister, Bradley, Jones, Ekitike, Mamardashvili, Robertson, Woodman, Gravenberch, Nyoni, Ngumoha, Lucky.
Federico Chiesa, Cody Gakpo and Wataru Endo have also been left out due to fitness issues.
