Man City 2-0 Wolves LIVE – Marmoush and Semenyo help City return to winning ways

The final whistle goes and that is just what the doctor ordered from a City perspective. A relatively comfortable victory, clean sheet and three points on the board.

A late flurry from Wolves came but it was too little too late. They leave empty handed, although it was not necessarily a bad performance from them.

Into the final minute of injury time and City continue to protect their clean sheet.

A late block sees Donnarumma, Guehi, Khusanov and O’Reilly embracing as if they had just scored a goal.

Mosquera misses the ball as he puts a strong challenge in on Doku.

The Belgian winger stays down and the defender is booked.

City’s two-goal cushion could prove to be crucial here, as they are under pressure from the visitors in the closing stages.

Mosquera wins the header from a corner but is denied by the crossbar.

Foden slides it through for Semenyo who rifles a strike past Sa.

However it rattles the crossbar and comes back out. Still 2-0.
