Man Utd handed double injury boost ahead of Arsenal clash

Manchester United have received a double injury boost ahead of their clash with Arsenal this weekend, with both Lisandro Martinez and Marcus Rashford returning to training.

Defender Martinez has played just 11 times this season in an injury-hit campaign and has not featured since the draw with Brentford in March with his latest problem, a calf strain.

Rashford, meanwhile, has been absent since the FA Cup semi-final with Coventry City after being forced off with injury and has missed the last three Premier League games.

But the club have now confirmed that are both are back in team training ahead of the game, raising the possibility of them returning to action against the Gunners on Sunday.

There was no mention of Bruno Fernandes, however, who missed the 4-0 defeat by Crystal Palace on Monday night through injury.

Scott McTominay, Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane, Luke Shaw, Anthony Martial and Victor Lindelof also remain doubtful.
