Enzo Maresca has confirmed that Alejandro Garnacho is at Chelsea as he looks to complete a move from Manchester United.

The Blues have agreed a deal to sign Garnacho from United and asked if he is undergoing his medical at the club, Maresca replied: “I know he is around here,” he said.

“I don’t know exactly where is but he’s around here.

“It’s quite clear his position is a winger and I see him as a winger.”

Maresca also confirmed that Cole Palmer will miss the game against west London rivals Fulham with the groin injury which forced him to pull out of the game against West Ham.

Benoit Badiashile and Romeo Lavia also remain sidelined with their respective injury issues.

“Cole we need to see day by day,” he said. “And the other two, I don’t think they’re going to be back after the international break, but they’re going to be more close.

“Two years ago, he [Lavia] didn’t play any games. Last year, he played some games. The target is to give him more games this season. I don’t know [when he will be back].

“I will say again, we are a much, much, much better team with Cole, no doubt. But when Cole is not in the game, we need to find a different solution. Last week we found a different solution, and hopefully we can find tomorrow, again, a different solution.”
