Maresca reveals Chelsea star is set to miss Qarabag clash in injury blow for Blues

Pedro Neto is set to miss Chelsea’s Champions League clash with Qarabag on Wednesday.

The Portugal international did not take part in training ahead of the game due to struggling with a “small issue”, according to boss Enzo Maresca.

But the winger is expected to be available for his side’s next Premier League game against his former club Wolves on Saturday.

“It’s not a problem, just a small issue,” Maresca said.

“We will try to protect him. He is not involved in tomorrow’s game.”
