Enzo Maresca reveals Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell are training away from the main group, casting further doubt over the pair’s future at Chelsea.
Sterling was omitted from Sunday’s defeat to former club Manchester City and just two hours before the match, released a statement questioning why he had been overlooked.
Chilwell had also been told to consider his options with Maresca suggesting the full back didn’t fit his style of play.
Ahead of tomorrow night’s UEFA Conference League playoff clash against Servette, Maresca said: “They are both training apart, the situation with them is quite clear.
“They are still Chelsea players but we have a big squad.
“I spoke with Raheem before the City game, I said he will struggle to get minutes with us.
“With Chilly, I said he is a lovely guy but because of his position, he will struggle.”
