Transfer news: Real Madrid agree Bellingham deal, Kante to leave Chelsea

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that they have agreed to sell Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid.

The England international is set to join the Spanish giants for a fee of 103 million euros, which could rise higher if certain future clauses are met.

“With realisation of this transfer Real Madrid will pay BVB a fixed transfer compensation in the amount of 103.0m EUR,” the club said.

“In addition, the payment of variable transfer fees up to a maximum total amount of around 30 per cent of the amount of the fixed transfer fee has been agreed.

“Such variable transfer fees are dependent on the achievement of certain sporting successes by Real Madrid and/or sporting successes or performances of the player at Real Madrid in the period of the next six seasons.”

Bellingham is now set to undergo a medical and finalise personal terms with the club ahead of his move, according to reports.

Meanwhile, N’Golo Kante is reportedly set to leave Chelsea following the expiration of his contract and sign for Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad.

Al Ekhbariya TV says the midfielder will sign a two-year deal with the option for another year, and is set to join fellow Frenchman Karim Benzema at the club, following his departure from Real Madrid.

The Blues could also lose another of their players, with Brighton set to return with a bigger bid for defender Levi Colwill having seen their initial £30 million offer knocked back.

Colwill spent last season on loan at the Seagulls, and Fabrizio Romano reports that they will return with a larger £40 million offer to further test Chelsea’s resolve.

But Brighton are also set for a significant departure, with midfielder Alexis Mac Allister due to sign for Liverpool.

The Argentinian enjoyed a fine campaign, winning the World Cup with his country and playing a key role in Brighton qualifying for the Europa League, and will provide a much needed boost in midfield for Jurgen Klopp.

And Lionel Messi has reportedly settled on his next club, with Guillem Balague reporting that the 35-year-old will join Inter Miami.

The MLS side, part-owned by David Beckham, recently sacked Phil Neville as manager but now look set to sign the Barcelona legend following his exit from PSG.
