New Chelsea signing left out of Champions League squad

Chelsea have published their squad for the league stage of this season’s Champions League.

New signing Facundo Buonanotte has been left out of the squad, having joined the Blues on loan from Brighton on the final day of the transfer window.

Romeo Lavia, Josh Acheampong and Tyrique George have not been included in the A list but can still play in the league stage because they are eligible for the B list, due to their home-grown status.

Chelsea’s full A list is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Sanchez, Jorgensen,

Defenders: Cucurella, Tosin, Badiashile, Colwill, Hato, Chalobah, James, Gusto, Fofana

Midfielders: Fernandez, Palmer, Essugo, Santos, Caicedo

Forwards: Delap, Joao Pedro, Guiu, Estevao, Garnacho, Neto, Gittens
