Newcastle United star suffers serious injury in training

Newcastle’s Lewis Miley will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a broken fibula in training.

The 20-year-old sustained the injury to his right leg on Tuesday, Newcastle said.

“He will travel to a specialist consultant on Wednesday before continuing his rehabilitation with the club’s medical team, and is expected to return for the start of pre-season,” the club added.

It comes as another blow for the youngster, who missed two months with a separate leg injury earlier this season.
