“Yeah he’s a little bit sore. It’s an ankle problem.
“A little bit of swelling in his ankle having just seen him. We hope it’s not serious, it’s difficult to know.
“Bruno is the type of player who never wants to come off, he always wants to play, so the fact he has come off is a worry for us.
“We’ll do everything we can to get him fit as quickly as possible.”
Newcastle boss Eddie Howe: “A great performance from the lads. I thought there was a really good energy today from not just the players but the supporters as well. There was a really good feeling in the ground.”
Yoane Wissa speaking to TNT Sports on the atmosphere today: “It’s something special, like I can’t describe.
“When I walk out and see all the flags and listen to the music, I get goosebumps, almost tears.
“I’m grateful. I’ve come a long way. My family are here, my mum and dad, so really pleased for that.”
Goalscorer Harvey Barnes: “It was a really special night.
“We know what we can do when we turn up against teams.
On Yoane Wissa’s goal: “I’m really happy for him. He’s had a tough start since he’s come here, obviously being injured for a long time. I had a similar start here so I know how tough it is watching on from the stands. I know how delighted he’ll be, a first Champions League goal and I thought he played really well. Buzzing for him.”

Goals from Wissa, Gordon and Barnes sealed PSV’s fate, and give Newcastle one foot in the Champions League knockout stages, a feat yet to be achieved by the Magpies.
