It will not be remembered as Forest’s greatest performance of the season but they will not care. It is a huge victory for them as they go another step closer to Champions League qualification.
It will also not be remembered as United’s worst performance of the season. Ruben Amorim’s side dominated possession and were on top for most of the game. They are perhaps unlucky to lose but there will be positives f0r them to take from this match.

United threw everything at the home side in the final stages but Forest’s defence stood strong and earned their team a valuable three points.

Casemiro is now substituted before he is sent off.
Christian Eriksen replaces him.
Casemiro makes another foul and is fortunate not to be shown his second yellow.
His foul certainly broke up the play and the home fans feel it was a tactical foul that deserved a yellow card.
The first yellow card of the match is shown to Casemiro for a late challenge on Yates.
The Brazilian is furious with the decision.
It is United’s sixth corner of the match and they go close again from it.
Casemiro wins the header but Sels is equal to it.
Forest take the kick off as they look to secure a valuable three points in their hunt for Champions League football.
