Mauricio Pochettino says Cole Palmer is a doubt to play against Arsenal on Tuesday.
The Chelsea man is struggling with illness ahead of the game and has not been in training.
“Today, no, but we will see tomorrow,” Pochettino said when asked if he could be involved.
“We will see tomorrow. We need to assess tomorrow morning.
“Today I don’t believe he can be involved but we need to assess him tomorrow and then we will decide. But even if he will be good tomorrow, maybe he is not in a condition to play.
“I hope as soon as possible he can be involved with the team again.
“With or without him, we believe we can win. The most important thing is the team, the collective.
“He is an important part of the team, he is doing fantastic for us, but this is Chelsea and there are plenty of players that can perform and do the job also.”
Malo Gusto and Ben Chilwell are also being assessed ahead of the game.
