Cole Palmer was back among the goals for Chelsea to help them to a 2-0 home win over Everton.

The 23-year-old scored for the Blues for the first time since September, having recently returned from a groin injury which kept him out for two months.

He opened the scoring after latching onto Malo Gusto’s pass and slotting past Jordan Pickford on 25 minutes.

Gusto then turned goalscorer to make it two after being teed up by Pedro Neto.

The victory ends a run of four games without a win in all competitions for Enzo Maresca’s side.
